Home ownership at Alegria comes with the privilege of membership in the Patrons Society, an advisory board to the Alegria Center for the Arts. A portion of each real estate sale at Alegria is allocated to the Center for the Arts to fund the community’s Artist-in-Residence program and The Gallery. 

As a member of the Patrons Society, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Center for the Arts in a number of different ways, including fund-raising, steering committees, educational opportunities and special events. By simply choosing to live here at Alegria, you will have already contributed to the growth and development of Costa Rican art and culture.

Patrons will enjoy access to private showings, meet-the-artist events and special workshops. It’s also an opportunity to meet neighbors, make new friends and discover aspects of Costa Rican life and culture that most outsiders rarely gain.

As the permanent art collection housed in The Gallery begins to grow, so too will the pride of ownership that comes with having created a beautiful legacy and the satisfaction of giving something back to the Costa Rican people.
